Carrot, Cabbage & Sprouted Green gram Salad

Method:
Soak Green gram on the previous day for 6 hours. Wash twice and drain the excess water and put the green gram in another container before going to bed. Cover it with a lid and let there be a slight air flow. You will find the sprouted green grams in the next day morning.

Then take 1 cup of grated Carrot and 1 cup of finely chopped Cabbage. Mix all three items together and eat.

Optional:

  • Add a small quantity of finely chopped Cucumber and a few Curry leaves. You may also add few drops of Ginger extract and grated coconut in this salad.
  • Jaggery powder can be mixed while eating.
Note:
Instead of Ginger extract, you may add few drops of Lemon. In that case, do not add grated coconut. Eating lemon and coconut together is a wrong combination.
